Our Rooms
All of our children are cared for in specific room groups according to their age. Each room group caters for a particular developmental stage and is looked after by a specialist member of the Great Expectations team.
Baby (6 weeks to 12 months)
Our carefully planned baby unit provides a cosy, relaxed atmosphere where our youngest children can thrive. With dedicated, sleep and changing areas together with bottle making facilities, baby’s care needs are met quickly and attentively.
Toddler (1-2 years)
Our toddlers have recently moved into their new unit. This has been created to enable children who are now standing to explore the world from the new upright position! The space also has dedicated changing and sleeping areas aswell as direct access to the outdoor play space.
Tweenie (2-3 years)
Our Tweenie unit offers a welcoming space with a balance of cosy and active areas to suit every interest. Direct access to the toilet facilities means that potty training children have lots of successful practices whilst those who have already mastered these skills can do so independently.
With water, sand, paint, glue, role play, story and construction all in one room your child will be busy learning all day!
Pre-School (3-5 years)
Our pre-school unit boasts an interactive whiteboard, a large block play area and a computer in addition to water, sand, paint, glue, role play, story and construction. Children have direct access to toilet facilities and the nursery garden giving them independence and choice in the way they spend their day.
